This kitchen transformation is one of our favorites. This home was feeling outdated and the owners were looking for a modern renovation. Not only were we able to give this kitchen an upgrade, we were able to increase the storage space and give this homeowner more room to entertain.
The previous design had dark countertops and builder-grade cabinets. We started the kitchen transformation by replacing the old countertops with upgraded quartz. To match, we reinforced the cabinets adding new fixtures and doors and painted them white to accent the countertops.
Overhead we added modern lighting to brighten up the entire space. We also modernized this kitchen transformation with a range hood and pot filler. Additionally, some of the surrounding walls were painted with dark colors. We wanted to brighten up the entire space from the kitchen to the living room to the dining room. So, we painted all the interior walls an off-white color. Finally, we upgraded the flooring to a richer wood laminate.
